Andersson was selected dull 33 overall in the 2nd spherical of the 1999 NHL Entry Draft by the Nashville Predators.

Andersson played a majority of his N U.s. sales person career using a Predator's minor league affiliate a Milwaukee Admirals. He did become the risk to play in the NHL however, when he played 5 games for the Predators in the 2001-02 NHL season.
